He attended school in Coffeyville, Kansas. He served his country in the United States Marines. On November 22, 1968 Charles Blackbourn and Judy Elaine Copeland were united in marriage. They enjoyed over thirty eight years together before her passing May 23, 2007.
He owned his own semi-truck in which he contracted jobs for over 24 years before his retirement. His hobby consisted of prospecting for gold.
He is survived by two daughters, Tina Hoggatt of Tulsa and Deanna Lynn Langley and husband Clint of Bristow; one son, Brent Brooks and wife Marci of Coffeyville, Kansas; two brothers, Barry and Gary Bonham; one sister, Donna; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother, Larry Bonham and one sister, Linda.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00PM, Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Sunrise Cemetery near Kellyville.
