"Saturday Rites --- Funeral services for NOAH SUGGS are to be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel at Hayward Funeral Home. Burial is to be in Powder Mill Cemetery. Mr. Suggs died Tuesday at this home, at 1207 Jefferson Avenue, Marshall. He was a native of Lodi, the son of Tob Suggs and Savannah Suggs. He was married in 1921, in Oakdale, Louisiana, to Mrs. Mary Morris. He was a retired laborer, and a member of Wards Chapel AME Church, in Marshall. Surviving are his wife; and one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Zachery, of Lodi."
