NOAH SUGGS is the son of Tobib "Tob" Suggs and Mrs. Savannah Grisby Suggs.

He is one of four children born to his parents' union. His siblings include John Henry, Elizabeth "Lizzie" and Fred.

Obituary
"Saturday Rites --- Funeral services for NOAH SUGGS are to be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel at Hayward Funeral Home. Burial is to be in Powder Mill Cemetery. Mr. Suggs died Tuesday at this home, at 1207 Jefferson Avenue, Marshall. He was a native of Lodi, the son of Tob Suggs and Savannah Suggs. He was married in 1921, in Oakdale, Louisiana, to Mrs. Mary Morris. He was a retired laborer, and a member of Wards Chapel AME Church, in Marshall. Surviving are his wife; and one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Zachery, of Lodi."
