Mr. Wert Adams Laun- Native of Orange, Tex.: and resident of Mobile for the last 50 years, dead at the residence, 166 Potter Drive, on Tuesday, July 21, 1964, at 2:30 p.m.

He was a veteran of the Spanish American War, past commander of the Fitzhugh Lee Camp of Spanish American War veterans.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beluah Rush Laun, Mobile; half sister, Miss Jane Newes, Memphis, Tenn.; half brothers Searle Hewes of Gulfport, Miss., and Elliot H. Hewes of Theodore.

The rosary will be recited at the chapel at Higgins Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock. Funeral services will be from St. Pius X Catholic Church Thursday, July 23, 1964, at 9:30 a.m., with Mass. Interment will be in the Catholic Cemetery. Arrangments by Higgins Brown-Service Mortuary of Mobile.
