Bob was born in Rapid City, SD, on August 10, 1937, to Roy and Mina (Kamper) Mick. He grew up with his brother, William “Billy," and two sisters, Marylin and Sharon, in the Poulsbo area.
Bob graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1955. He sang in the choir and was voted the “most handsome" of his graduating class.
A lifelong electrician by trade, he served the Kitsap and Bainbridge Island areas. He is remembered by fellow tradesman as very tough, skilled and hard-working.
