Mrs. Louella Dietz Inman passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018.
Mrs. Inman was born November 16, 1926 in Conway, SC, a daughter of the late Harlow Allan and Martha Elizabeth (Dessie) Lewis Dietz.
After business school in Columbia, SC, she served as Secretary to the Horry County Superintendent of Schools.
She was an avid bridge player and doll collector. Mrs. Inman was well-known in her community through her work with Dr. Derrick Stalvey for over 25 years.
Louella ('Wella/Miss Lou) loved gardening, backyard bird-watching, shopping with her daughter and, most of all, her late husband of 70 years, Mr. Julius Beaty Inman, who predeceased her by 6 days. She was also predeceased by brothers, Harlow Clinton Dietz and Whiteford Allan Dietz.
Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mrs. Inman is survived by her son, Julius Beaty Inman, Jr. (Emily) of Georgetown and Marilyn Inman McDonald (Len) of North Litchfield Beach; her Grandchildren, Elizabeth Belle McDonald of Los Angeles, CA and Carl Julius McDonald (Dee Dee) of Charlotte, NC; her great-granddaughter, Lillian Patterson McDonald, and many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Lakewood Baptist Church in Georgetown, SC. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery in Conway, SC.
