Excerpt -- Willis Arnol Bolyard, 86, of Rt. 1 Moatsville died at 4 p.m. Monday at the White Gables Nursing Home in Parsons. Born Aug. 9, 1870, in Sinclair, Preston County, he was the son of the late Isaiah and Amanda Wilson Bolyard. His wife, Maude E. (Doll) Young Bolyard, preceded him in death in March. He was a farmer in Preston County for many years. He was also a merchant and postmaster in Sinclair. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Methodist Church in Sinclair. Surviving are three brothers, U. Grant Bolyard of Grafton, P. W. O. Bolyard of Gladesville, and I. G. Bolyard of Moatsville; four sisters, Mrs. Olive B. King of Greenville, Oh., Mrs. Susan Summers of Morgantown, Mrs. Adeline Hollis of Rowlesburg and Mrs. Lura Smith of Catawba. Services were held at 2 p.m. today at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church near Marquess. Interment was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
