Aurora Gutierrez, 91 years of age, passed away peacefully at her home on January 29, 2018 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Born in Los Angeles, California, she was the daughter of Justin and Encarnacion Gonzalez. She was married to Jose Luis Gutierrez and was divorced. She is survived by 6 children, 13 grandchildren (2 deceased), and 18 great grandchildren.

Aurora and Jose Luis raised their family in the Imperial Valley in California. She spent many years employed as a certified x-ray technician. Soon after retirement, she moved to Phoenix, Arizona. She loved painting still lifes and landscapes and shared them with her family. She will be remembered for her inquisitive nature and pointing out the good in others. The visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm to the time of the service. A Celebration of Life reception will be held afterwards with details to be announced at the service.
