Bertha Quinn Whitfield Thorpe, of Hackleburg, passed away Wednesday November 22, 2017 at the Burns Rehab Center in Russellville.
Visitation will be Saturday November 25 from 11:00 until service time at 12:00 at the Hackleburg First Baptist Church burial will follow at Cedar Tree Cemetery.
Survivors include, son, Dennis (Sheila) Whitfield; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Mable Jessup and Betty Stutts; sisters-in-law, Jewel Quinn (wife of Owen Quinn) and Yvonne Quinn (wife of John D. Quinn). She is preceded in death by, husband, Bluford Whitfield; sons, Larry and Gary Whitfield; granddaughter, Shannon Whitfield; siblings, Maudie Quinn Taylor, Grady Thomas Quinn, Owen Earl Quinn, Stanley Willard Quinn, Ruby Mae Quinn Britnell, Ruth Louise Quinn Peck Whitfield, Paul Odell Quinn and John D. Quinn.
