Funeral services for Sgt. Harry Lee Neese, Jr., 26, of Swansea, will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon from Swansea Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Gaines Mason. Interment will be in Swansea cemetery. Sergeant Neese died from injuries received Wednesday morning in a two-car collision near Swansea. He was a life-long resident of Lexington County, and has served in the U.S. Air Force for the past nine years. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Azille L. Neese of Swansea, two sons, Tony L. Neese and Michael R. Neese, both of Columbia; two brothers, Billy D. Neese of the U.S. Air Force in England and Perry W. Neese of Columbia; and his paternal grandfather, B. B. Neese of Swansea. Military services will be held. The body will be taken to the home of G. E. Rast, 420 Pall Mall Street, in Columbia, at 10 o'clock this morning where it will remain until time of service. © The State, Columbia, SC, 6 Jul 1958
