She was born Feb. 16, 1936, the daughter of John and Twila (Ralston) Kaser, and on Feb. 23, 1952, married the love of her life, Russell J. Smith. He preceded her in death Oct. 28, 1991.
Donna retired from Rice Chadwick after working 39 years, and loved taking her daily walks.
Surviving are daughters, Cindy Smith Swartzentruber of Massillon and Peggy (Ed) Miller of West Lafayette; a daughter-in-law, Sherry Smith of Killbuck; grandchildren, Kellie (Smith) Hantzsche, Amber (Reuben) Miller, Travis (Jamie) Swartzentruber and Russ (Holly) Miller; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley (Ed) Zollinger of Oregon.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Russell "Skeeter" and Bill; a sister, Iona Drouhard; and a brother, Pete Kaser.
Graveside services will be Saturday, Feb. 10 at 10 a.m. in Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg. Arrangements are being handled by Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg.
