Julia Bond, 98, of Frontenac, Kansas, passed away at 5:07pm, Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Medicalodges in Frontenac, KS.
Julia was born August 23, 1919 in South Radley, Kansas to Julio and Clorinda (Biancarelli) Frondizi.
She was a 1937 graduate of Frontenac High School.
Julia married John Bond. He proceeded her in death in 1980.
She was an excellent cook and loved spending time with her family. Julia had a contagious smile and laugh that always lit up the room.
Julia is survived by her son, Julie Bond of Bolivar, Missouri; grand-daughter-in-law, Shelly, and great-grandchildren, Sophia and Martin Bond, all of OshKosh, Wisconsin; Cooper and Ron Brown of Radley, KS; Jenna and Jason Vitt of Girard, KS, and other great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Angelina Sipes and brother-in-law, Carl C. Sipes; grandson, Michael Bond; niece, Tina Brown; nephew, Carl Walker Sipes; and daughter-in-law, Sharon Bond.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 13th from 10:30-11:15 at Friskel Funeral Home in Frontenac, KS. Graveside services will follow shortly after at the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
