Mrs. Withers died Thursday, Oct. 3, 1996, at Capital Regional Hospital -- Southwest Campus, Jefferson City.
She was born March 19, 1928, in St. Louis, the daughter of George Braun and Anna Ellington Braun.
She was raised and educated in St. Louis, later lived with her husband in the Kansas City area and moved to the Lake of the Ozark area in 1976.
Mrs. Withers was a homemaker and a member of the American Veterans Chapter 108 of the Rocky Mount Auxiliary,
Rocky Mount. She married Don W. Withers on Jan. 18, 1947, in St. Louis. Mr. Withers survives of the home.
Mrs. Withers is also survived by a son, Steven E. Withers, Kansas City, Mo.; a daughter, Dottie L. Wolverton,
Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Lawrence; two brothers, Al Braun, Rocky Mount, and Bob Braun, St. Louis, and
four grandchildren.
