She was an artist and author, having written several children's books and created oil and water colors paintings. She was a member of the Frederick Art Club and the Frederick Garden Club, and was a volunteer with the Frederick Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, the Red Cross, and St Ignatius Roman Catholic Church in Ijamsville, MD.
She was predeceased by her parents, Dr Harry Roland Kenner and Clare Warfield Kenner; and her husband, William George Hill Jr. She was survived by her three sons; a granddaughter; a great-grandchild; a sister; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation and funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in the Etchison Memorial Chapel at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, Frederick, MD. Interment on February 10, 2018.
