Services were to be held at 1 p m. today at Owens Funeral Home Chapel for Chief Sam Lowery of N82 Robinson Pace who died Friday in Washington, D.C.

Interment was to be in Riverview Cemetery.

Survivors are his wife; four sons, Samuel Claude of Washington, Jimmy Jerard of Hattiesburg, Frederick J. of San Diego, and PO. 1 Curtis Lowery of the U.S. Navy; five sisters, Mrs. Rachel Byers, Mrs. Anelia Roberts, Mrs. Beatrice Bratcher, Mrs. Odess Moss and Mrs. Jeanette Pittman, and two brothers, Oslet and Nebraska Lowery, all of North Carolina; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
