"Mrs. Humphrey, Woman Over Ninety-seven Years of Age, Died at Utters Corners." (special to the Gazette.)

"Utters Corners, June 3.-- Mrs. Humphrey, the oldest resident of
this place, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. H. Gage, with
whom she has made her home for a number of years, at the ripe old
age of ninety-seven years, two months and eleven days. The funeral
will be held from the Gage home this afternoon at 2:30."

James and Sally Humphrey had at least nine children.
