Barney Milton Ivey age 94 of Henagar died Tuesday, February 13 at his residence. Funeral services are Friday at 1 pm CT at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro. C L Wilborn officiating. Burial will follow in Henagar Memorial Park with Military Honors and Masonic Rites. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm Thursday and 10 am until service time on Friday.

Survivors include wife of 71 years, Nancy Lucille Whitmire Ivey, daughter, Anita Flynn(Michael), sons, Gary Ivey, Toney Ivey(Brenda), grandchildren, Scotter Ivey, Sherry Ellis(Jerry), Nathan Chandler, Christy Davis, Steve Flynn, Anthony Ivey, Casey Ivey(Emily), great-grandchildren, Michael Ivey(Carolyn), Aaron Ellis, Lexi Ivey, Morgan Flynn, Gracie Flynn, Natalie Davis, Mason Chandler, Carter Ivey, sister, Sue Wilson, brother-in-law, Donald Craze, several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Ivey was a WW II Veteran serving in the US Army, a member of Macklin Baptist Church, Mahan Lodge 490 and American Leigon Post 39. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Russell "Pumpkin" and Brownie Mae LittleJohn Ivey, brother, Glen Ivey(Juanita), sisters, Mellie Tucker(Carter), Jean Ivey, Mildred Ivey, Pearl Ivey, Maxine Shankles(Elwood), Jo Craze, brother-in-law, Mark Wilson.
