FORMER NINEVEH WOMAN IS DEAD AT RUSSELVILLE
FUNERAL OF MRS. WM. KEATON, SR., AT NINEVEH TUESDAY

Word was received at Nineveh late Saturday of the death at her home near Russellville Saturday afternoon of Mrs. William Keaton, Sr., until two years ago a well-known resident of the Nineveh community. Death resulted from urameic poisoning. Mrs. Keaton was born July 2, 1851. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Belk. She and Mr. Keaton were married in March, 1874. Besides her husband, she is survived by five children. They are Frank Keaton, of Edinburg; Ben Keaton, living northeast of Franklin; Mrs. O. N. Julian, of Indianapolis; and Clarence and Fred Keaton, living at home near Russellville.

Other relatives surviving are three brothers, Alex. Belk, of Franklin; A. T. Belk, of Greenwood; and Geo. Belk, of Edinburg; and two sisters, Mrs. Warren Cobb, of Edinburg; and Mrs. Eva Timmons, of Englewood, California; and one granddaughter, Georgianna Keaton. The late John Belk of Franklin was also a brother.

Mrs. Keaton was a woman of kind and lovable disposition, and is said by her neighbors at Nineveh to have been most affable and companionable. She was a life-long member of the Christian church of Nineveh. Funeral services will be conducted at the Nineveh Christian church Tuesday at 1 o'clock, following the arrival of the body, which will be brought overland from Russellville. Dr. Clarence Reidenbach, of Irvington, will be in charge. Burial will be in Nineveh cemetery.

FUNERAL OF MRS. KEATON TUESDAY LARGELY ATTENDED

Funeral services for Mrs. William Keaton, Sr., former resident of Nineveh, who died at her home near Russelville, Saturday afternoon, were conducted at the Nineveh Christian church, Tuesday afternoon, at one o'clock, and were largely attended. The Rev. Clarence Reidenbach, of Irvington, had charge of the services. William Gosney sang sweetly "Whispering Hope", and the audience sang a number of favorite hymns. The casket bearers were: George Cobb, Fred Gillaspy, Floyd Britton, Ralph Cobb, William Gosney and George McClain. Burial was held in the Nineveh Cemetery.
