Mildora M. Moore, 86, of 2901 Fair Road, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at Fair Haven Shelby County Home in Sidney.

She was born on May 23, 1920, in Maplewood, Shelby County, the daughter of the late William and Bertha (Cox) Abbott.

On Nov. 23, 1961, she married Calvin "Bud" Moore and he passed away in October 1998.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews and one sister, Wilma Brideweser of Sidney.

Preceding her in death were one sister and two brothers.

Mildora loved working with crafts and also belonged to a garden club in Logan County when she lived in that area. She was a member of the Maplewood United Methodist Church and played the organ there for many years.

She also owned and operated the former Mildora's Beauty Salon in Maplewood for more than 52 years,

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, with the Rev. Barbara Staley officiating. Burial will be in Glen Cemetery, Port Jefferson.

Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Fair Haven Shelby County Home Activities Fund or Maplewood United Methodist Church in Mildora's memory.
