Actor. Under the screen name of "David Worth", Leon Andrews Ming Wiglesworth (middle names often stated as just A.M.) starred in early talking Western serial series in Los Angeles in the late 1920s and 1936 when he returned home to Kentucky. Leon was discovered by Will Rogers who saw him having lunch. It was Rogers who suggested that he drop the "Wigles" part of his last name and adopt Worth. Leon's final film role was as a solider in MGM's 1935 Anna Karenina starring Greta Garbo.

An alumnus of the University of Kentucky, he also starred in stage productions, preferring theater to film work. He retired from film in 1935. Service to Country in the United States Military during WWII. He had been honorably discharged prior to his death.

Son of Garnett and Nona (Ming) Wiglesworth. Leon's name is a connection to his mother, Nona Ming Wiglesworth Tolle - the middle initial of "A.M." found in many official records was an abbreviate of Andrews Ming, both maternal family names.

Survived by his three sisters Frances Lail, Lilly Brombeck, and Lela Robinson. Preceded in death by parents and his brother T. Garnett Wiglesworth Jr.
