Anna L. Willard, 86, of Sunbury, passed away Feb. 14, 2018, at Manor at Penn Village.
She was born in Hartley Township on Dec. 16, 1931, the daughter of the late Bruce and Matilda (Catherman) Folk.
She was in the top five of her Mifflinburg High School class of 1949. She served in the US Women's Army Corps and worked as the director of the music department and was an occupation therapist aide at the Selinsgrove State School/Center. She was a proud member of the Northumberland Juvenile Probation Board and a member of St. Monica Church and formerly sang in the choir.
She is survived by sons, Daniel S. (Shirley) Willard, of Northumberland, Steven B. (Joyce) Willard, of Sunbury, and Brad M. Willard, of Mifflinburg; daughter, Kathy (Dalton) Andrews, of Charleston, S.C.; five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, her good friend, Diana Woomer; brother, Lyle "Pete" Folk, of Galeton; and two nieces.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Eugenie Sloditski in 1995; and sister, Linda Folk in 1993.
Friends and family may visit at noon Monday, Feb. 19, at the David T. Zweier Funeral Home, Inc., 157 Chestnut St., Sunbury, followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. with Fr. Kerry Walters officiating.
Interment will be in the Hartleton Cemetery.
