Joshua Lee Swearingen, 28, of Calhoun, GA. Died Feb. 15, 2007 in Calhoun. Funeral services were held Mon. Feb. 19, 2007 at Abundant Life Church of God in Burkburnett with Rev. Anthony West and Rev. Rick Allen officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett.
Joshua was born in Wichita Falls, TX on Oct. 23, 1978. He was a journeyman electrician with Fox Systems. He was a 1997 graduate of Burkburnett High School and a member of Abundant Life Church of God, Burkburnett. He married Misty Dawn Ansohn on May 23, 1997.
He is survived by his wife, Misty Swearingen of Calhoun; a son, Clayton Tripp Swearingen of Calhoun; parents, Larry and Deni Swearingen of Burkburnett; a brother, Corey Swearingen and wife Amanda of Burkburnett, a sister, Tracy Virdell of Wichita Falls; his grandmother, Lois Daugherty of Wichita Falls; step-grandmother, Bobbie Swearingen of Nocona, TX; his grandfather, Darwin Allen of Burkburnett; a niece, Lexi and nephews, Kelley and Gavin; aunts, Terrie Cribbs, Lynda Wampler, Shelly Daugherty, Connie Hales, Lisa Swearingen and Amy Ketchum; uncles, RD Allen, Ricky Allen, Rusty Allen, Lanny Daugherty and Randy Swearingen; 27 cousins; and lots of friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sharon Allen, grandfather, Randall Swearingen, and uncle, Rocky Allen.
