31 May 1852 In group of 6 that visited New Lebanon,. Hancock and Tyringham. (VB-338 CF)

7 Oct 1856 "Azuba taken to 2d house for safekeeping and to be under the care and attention of the physician. She is raving crazy." (David Buckingham Journal)

4 July 1857 Azuba "quite low but can help herself."

8 July 1857 Azuba died. Had not been able to eat for 2 weeks. "She felt quite comfortable, did not want but little done nor did not want to see but few." (Above two items from Ann Buckingham Journals)

8 July 1857 Azuba "died this a.m. apparently very easily without a groan or struggle. She has not eat anything of consequence for more than 3 weeks past. She has slipped out of time in a very quiet manner, having had no night watches during her illness. She seemed, and often expressed, her thankfulness for the kindness shown her." (DAB)

9 July 1857 Azuba's sister Lydia Culver (and 5 others) came, not knowing Azuba was ill. Went to funeral and to grave. Elizabeth Train came to see her and she went to 2d Family to see David Train." (PAB)
