He is survived by his two children; son, Alexander Ivan Anderson, 7, and daughter Milania Joy Anderson, 5, of Charlotte, North Carolina, who he loved dearly; his parents Charles and Kathy Anderson; his sister Kimberly Anderson Ritchie and her husband William Ritchie of Thornton, New Hampshire; and mother of his children, Katya Homyakova. His relatives in the Moore and Anderson families, and his friends, deeply loved him.
He enjoyed the great outdoors, reading, music, writing about various current world events, and activities with his children. Travis never met a stranger; he was a very intelligent and charismatic individual and loved to travel the world.
A service to celebrate Travis's life was held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at Saint Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church, Charlotte, North Carolina. Pall bearers were Josh Ball, Brian Craven, Nicholas Gatewood, Jacob Moore, John Moore, Tommy Poulos, William Ritchie, and Matt Stankus.
