Doris June Burton died Saturday, February 17, 2018, at her home. She was born in Lewis County, Kentucky, on June 23, 1927, to the late Ezekiel and Eva Mae Eddington Stone.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, John G. Burton; her son, Jerry W. Burton; and seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by: her children, Mary "Brandy" (Larry) Holleran, Sharon Kiskaden, Johnny Burton and Teresa Burton; her grandchildren, Brandy Jo Burton, Regina Holder, Johnny Burton, II, Jeremy Burton, Christopher Curtis, Brian Kiskaden, Joshua Curtis and Megan Moore; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services would be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 22, at Germantown Christian Church. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Palmer Funeral Home, in Germantown, Kentucky. Memorials are suggested to Germantown Christian Church.
