In 1940 she and her husband and their daughter lived with her parents, four siblings, and her paternal grandfather in a house they were renting for $17.50 a month at 1251 West New York Street in Indianapolis, IN. Her father worked as a roofer, with an income in 1939 of $1480 for 37 weeks of work, and her husband as a construction laborer, with an income in 1939 of $800 for 40 weeks of work.

Olivia E. Williams 88, passed away on April 1, 2007. She was born on January 19, 1919 in Asher, Indiana. Mrs. Williams spent a lot of time improving the quality of life and human relationships in her family and her community. She was a Sunday School teacher for over 35 years and had been a light for many young people to follow. She also created wonderful quilts and blankets for some less fortunate people in the world as well as a major contributor to the Feed the Children Foundation and The World Village of Children. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson Williams; her parents, Lewis and Bonnie Baysinger, also by her brother, Billy Joe and sister, Estlene Baysinger. She is survived by her four sisters and two daughters, Barbara Schultz and Linda Keen. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
