Beverly Jean Horan, 81, passed away February 18, 2018. Beverly was born July 29, 1936 in Corder, MO to Edward and Mabel (Ballinger) Prosser. She retired from Frank Rushton Elementary School in the Kansas City Kansas School District where she worked as a Teacher’s Aid. Beverly loved her family, her church and her faith. She had a kind heart and was always willing to help others. She also had a special place in her heart for animals.
Mrs. Horan was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul Horan, Sr., her son Paul Horan, II, her sister Margaret Ziegelman and her brother Glen Prosser. Survivors include her daughter Linda Malach and her husband Larry; daughter Ginny LeRette; daughter Pam LeRette; son Ed Horan; six grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and many loved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6-8PM, Thursday, February 22 at Park Lawn, 8251 Hillcrest Rd.; rosary to begin at 7PM. Mass of Christian burial will be 12PM, Friday, February 23 at Sacred Heart Guadalupe Parish, 2544 Madison, Kansas City, MO 64108.
