Barbara Kay Varelli, 6, Kokomo, was found deceased at her home Sunday morning, April 1, 2007. She was born Jan. 18, 2001, in Kokomo. She has been blessed by two dads and her mom, Melissa S. (Lewellen) Varelli, Glen Murphy and Joseph Varelli.
Barbara attended kindergarten at Pettit Park Elementary School.
Surviving are her mother and fathers, Melissa S. Varelli, Glen Murphy, and Joseph Varelli, all of Kokomo; brothers, Curtis L.A. Varelli, at home, and Matthew Lee Lewellen; sisters, Ashley Nicole Varelli, at home, Kayla M. Murphy, Julie Murphy, Jessica Murphy, Christina Murphy, and Melissa Murphy, all of Kokomo; two nephews also survive in Kokomo; maternal grandparents, David and Barbara Lewellen, Kokomo; cousins, Jacob and Keirstin Chapel, and Hailey and Brady Lewellen II.
She is preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, Elmer and Louise Heath, and Rosemary and Harley Lewellen; and paternal grandparents, Eddie Ray Murphy and Darlene Marie Murphy.
Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St., with Pastor Paul Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery.
