Jimmie Joe Little, age 58, of Columbus, Kansas passed away at his home Tuesday, February 20, 2018.

Jimmie was born June 4, 1958 to the late William Lee and Betty Joe Wood Little in Picher, Oklahoma.

He graduated from Columbus High School and lived here for most of his life.

He worked for Ace Electric in Columbus, and thoroughly enjoyed music as a singer and guitarist for various bands, including Cherokee Country.

Surviving Jimmy are four sisters: Barbara Jean Jeffrey (husband John) of McCune, KS, Betty Lou Burton (husband Jimmy) of Columbus, Judy Ann Smith of Columbus, and Linda Lou Duree (husband David) of Baxter Springs, Kansas; one brother Bobby Gene Little of Turk.

He was preceded in death by sister Wanda Lea Andrews and brother William Lee Little Jr.

Graveside services are being handled by Derfelt Funeral Home of Columbus, KS, and will be held Monday, February 26, 2018 at Columbus City Cemetery, at 2:00 PM. Prior to the graveside, the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-1:30 PM. Online condolences may be left for the family at derfelffuneralhomes.com.
