Roy Lee Winfrey, 92, of Kissimmee, Florida passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Roy was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on September 9, 1921, the son of the late Theodore and Nell (Sharp) Winfrey. He served in the U.S. Army as a Cpl in WW II.
He was of the Assembly of God Faith. He was a carpenter by trade but during his life he had also been a security guard and owned his own lawn mower repair shop.
Roy is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Pauline (Sullivan) Winfrey; a daughter, Earlene Degagne of Florida; three sons, Jimmy Lee Winfrey, Kenneth Roy Winfrey, Willis Lee Winfrey all of Florida. He is also survived by Seven Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be at Osceola Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Kissimmee, where funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, October 8.
Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Services have been entrusted to the care of Osceola Memory Gardens Funeral Home,
1717 Old Boggy Creek Road, Kissimmee.
