People of this vicinity were shocked Saturday morning to learn of the death of Abram LEONARD, one of the oldest citizens. He had been in his usual health until Friday noon when he was stricken with paralysis and died Saturday morning.
Funeral services were held at Hickory Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev. EVEREST of the Christian church of Summum, after which the remains were leaid to rest by the side of his wife who preceeded him in death in 1901.
