Mrs. Beasley was born in Cumberland County, the daughter of James and Lennie Mullen Jacobs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Beasley, who died in August of 1962.
Surviving are three sons, Don of Mooresville, Ind., Russell of Casey and Jerry at home; two foster sons, Melvin Walker of Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., and Marty Walker at home; one brother, Ed Jacobs of Westfield; two sisters, Mrs. Goldie Walters of Casey and Mrs. Nora Campbell of Terre Haute; and six grandchildren.
Mrs. Beasley was a member of the First Baptist Church of Casey and the Women of the Moose.
Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Markwell Funeral Home, with interment in the Casey Washington St. Cemetery.
