A pharmacist in Warsaw for 60 years died at Wy. Co. Comm. Hospital where he was taken from his home at 163 N. Main St. a few days before. Born in Warsaw and had always lived in this village. His parents were Alanson L. & Betsey Chadwick Burr. His wife Ida Burr died 8/26/1935. 2 brothers, Carl E. Burr of Cleveland and James W. Burr of Warsaw survive him. Rev. George D. Miller, Pastor Emeritus of the Presbyterian Church officiated with members of the Warsaw Kiwanis Club acting as bearers. He was a charter member of Kiwanis Club, Warsaw Fire Department and director of Warsaw Cemetery Association. Mr. Burr was nearly 87 years old at his death and he had been active in his work until within the last year or 2. He was a man of high character and cheerful approach to problems of Life. Everybody liked him and the whole village of Warsaw mourns his death.
