Dock Nicholas Burton, Sr. age 52 passed away July 14, 1981 in Ashdown, Arkansas. Dock was born on July 4, 1929 to Luther "Shorty" Burton and Feszelle Maxwell-Burton in Ogden, Little River County, Arkansas.
He was a construction worker, a Christian and a member of St. Rest Baptist Church in Foreman, Arkansas. He loved to play the harmonica and sing, he was good at it too.
He leaves behind his wife, Maudie Mae Coffey-Burton, seven children Walter, Eddie, Nick, David, Timothy, Martha and Linda. Three brothers LutherEdd Burton, Roy C. Burton and Henry "Sonny" Burton, and Lee Burton. Sisters, Martha Burton-Claudy and Bertha Burton-Battle.
He will be missed beyond measure and always remembered for his kindness towards others.
