JAMES GILMORE
James Gilmore. 80, formerly of Plains, died Saturday night at Pittston, after a lingering illness.

Mr. Gilmore was born in Scranton but had been a resident of Plains section practically all his life. For a number of years he was employed by the Conlon Coal Company. Several nieces and nephews survive.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 from the J. S. Miller Funeral Home, 8 North Main Street, Plains, with services in charge of Rev. Reginald Voorhees. Interment will be in West Pittston Cemetery. *

Largely attended services were held yesterday afternoon for James Gilmore, late of Hudson, at the J. S. Miller Funeral Home, 8 North Main Street, Plains. Rev. Reginald Voorhees of Grace Episcopal Church, West Pittston, officiated.

Casket bearers were Leslie Richardson, Willard Richardson, Philip Thomas, Robert Gilmore, Lawrence Smith and Charles Smith. Interment was in Hollenback Cemetery.
