John Cecil Headley, 87 of Maylene, Alabama passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018. He was a member of Community Baptist Church in Alabaster, Alabama. He was retired from Jim Walter Resources, Incorporated. He was a Veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Archie Headley; his brothers, John Daniel Headley, Horace Leon Headley, Norris Lee Headley, and James Monroe Headley; his sisters, Myra Nell Headley Caton, Gracie Headley Hutchison, Elizabeth Headley Masters, and Beatrice Headley Snow; and his grandson, Addison Connell. He is survived by his daughters, Ann Headley Huckabee (Dale), Pam Headley Connell (Alvin), and Susan Headley Biddy (Joey); 4 grandchildren; Adam Connell, Amy Connell Roland, Chandlar Biddy and Lauren Biddy Smitherman; 5 great-grandchildren; Molly Rollan, Connor Rollan, Cooper Rollan, Carter Rollan, and Sophia Smitherman. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2018 at 2 p.m. graveside at Nabors Cemetery in Saginaw, Alabama; Bro. Bob Brown officiating.
