MRS. MATILDA ARNOLD
(1885-1956)
Mrs. Matilda Wiseman Arnold, 70, of Lucasville Rt. 3, died at 7:15 p.m. Sunday in Portsmouth General Hospital.
Mrs. Arnold was born Aug. 15, 1885, at Raleigh County, W.Va.
The deceased leaves two sons and two daughters, Ramey and Hobart Arnold and Mrs. Roy Kitts of Lucasville Rt. 3 and Mrs. Gladys Williams of Pax, W.Va. Two children preceded her in death.
Besides the two sons and two daughters, Mrs. Arnold leaves a brother, Charles Wiseman of Jackson, a sister, Mrs. Rowena Williams of Lucasville Rt. 3; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Mrs. Arnold is a member of Owl Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Scioto Free Will Baptist Church and burial will be in Scioto Cemetery under the direction of the Howe Funeral Home of Piketon. The body may be viewed at the residence.
