Allan Bert Howard, 77, of Kerrville TX passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018. He was born in Earth, TX to J. L. (Bert) Howard and Maurine K. Damron on November 30, 1940. He married April May Sommers on August 11, 2006 in Kerrville, TX.

He was a veteran of the Korean conflict serving in the US Air Force as an Aircraft Mechanic.

Upon his return, he went from California to Texas, where he joined the Family Business in Texas and eventually retired to Kerrville, TX. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Betty Howard.

In loving memory of Allan, there will be a viewing at Grimes Funeral Chapels at 728 Jefferson St. Kerrville, TX, Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 4-6 pm.

Services will be held Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 2 pm at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Rev. Chris Christopherson. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
