Nancy Adeline "Nannie" (Victory) Evins was born on March 15, 1870 in Rutherford County, Tennessee, the daughter of Isaac Victory (ca 1848- ) and Rebecca (Wright) Victory.

She was married about 1886 to Burrel Mitchell Evins (1849-1927), the son of Samuel Carroll Evins (1823–1894) and Amelia "Milley" (Robertson) Evins (1821–1902).

Living at 2001 Eastland Avenue in Nashville, she was 73 years old and a widow when she died at home of myocarditis on February 19, 1944. Burial was two days later in Spring Hill Cemetery in Madison {city, not county}.
