Obituary
Martin is a son of Reverend and Mrs George P Kabele. After his ordination on June 10, 1936, he married Irene M Brewold, they have three children: Marcia, Thomas and Daniel; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Reverend Kabele is a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
Reverend Kabele retired in 1978 from active ministry after a twenty-one year pastorate at First Lutheran, St Joseph, Missouri. He previously served parishes in Harvel, Riverdale, Polo and Chicago, all in Illinois. During his so-called retirement he served Children's Memorial, Blue Ridge Trinity, Bethlehem, Salem, All Saints, and St Martin, all in the Kansas City area, as an interim pastor.
Martin passed away at the Indian Creek Nursing Center. He was a resident of Shawnee, Kansas.
