James was the 5th of 6 children born to Joseph Alexander and Marion (Coen) Robinson in Signal Hill, Los Angeles County, California on January 27th, 1941.
James married Barbara Shehee in 1960 and remained with her until his passing, they had three daughters together, Jamie, Jennifer and Jimmie.
James was predeceased by his daughter Jamie, his parents, two brothers, Joseph and Thomas, and two sisters, Betty and Maxine.
James is survived by his wife, Barbara, two daughters, Jennifer and Jimmie, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister Beverly Assad, nephews and nieces and of course many friends.
James was cremated and his ashes are retained by family.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 3rd, at Wells Community Church in Yucaipa, California at 11am.
