Leatrice was born in McKeansburg, Feb. 2, 1928, a daughter of the late William H. and Eva M. Jones Mimm.
She was the widow of Ralph H. Artz and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville, and a 50 year member of Eastern Star Orwigsburg Chapter No. 424
She graduated from Tamaqua High School and attended Temple University.
She was employed as an X-ray technician at Pottsville Hospital. Lea also worked as a hostess for the former Wedgewood Restaurant.
She was predeceased by her brother, William Mimm.
Leatrice is survived by her sisters–in-law, Janet Mimm and Doris Stanton, and her brothers-in-law, Robert and Ronald Artz; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Orwigsburg, with Pastor Chris Rothharpt officiating. A memorial gathering will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow in Christ Union Cemetery, McKeansburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Trinity Lutheran Church Elevator Fund, Third and Arch streets, Pottsville, PA 17901.
