Walter Francis Plummer, 99, of Belpre, passed away February 28, 2018 at Camden Clark Medical Center.
Walter was born July 25, 1918 in East Liverpool, OH, son of the late Robert H. and Nettie May Stephens Plummer.
He graduated from Belpre High School. Walter proudly served with United States Army Air Corps during World War II. He retired from Viscose-FMC and had been active with the Home Builder Belpre Area. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Belpre and had attended Belpre Heights United Methodist Church, and had been active with Real Estate Sales for several years.
Walter is survived by sons: Gary Plummer (Catherine), Kenneth Plummer, Daughter: Coleen Starling (Dave}, grandchildren Chad Plummer (Dani), Curt Plummer (Beth), Carrie Rice (Brian), Steve Starling (Cathy), Ben Starling (Liz) and 15 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Walter was preceded in death by his wife (Carolyn Elizabeth Ward Plummer, and brothers William Plummer, Ray Plummer, and Ronald Plummer.
