DEATH SUMMONS MRS. ELIZA NEAL
Mrs. Eliza Neal passed away at her home in eleventh street, south of Lincoln street, at 9:30 this morning. Death was due to a cancerous growth from which she had suffered for many years. The funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 at the residence. The funeral services will be preached by Rev. Webb of Windsor and burial will be made in Mound cemetery.

Eliza King Neal was born in Morgan County, Indiana May 8. 1850. While yet a child she came to Cumberland county. In 1866 she was united in marriage to John T. Neal in Cumberland county. To this union, four children were born. One daughter, Mrs. Will Rankin preceded her mother to the grave. She is survived by two sons, Owen C. Neal of Diona and J. Elmer Neal of this city, one brother, Alec King of Diona, and five sisters, Mrs. Amy Cole and Mrs. J. W. Stallings of Greenup, Mrs. W. I. Stallings and Mrs. Abe Ryan of Diona and Mrs. Samantha Foote of Portland, Ore.

She was a charter member of the Clear Creek Separate Baptist church. She has spent most of her life in this city and near Diona.

She was conscious until the very last. She sang a song just before she died and seemed reconciled. She leaves a vacancy onthe heats of those who loved her that can never be filled and leaves a host of friends who are bereaved at the news of her death.
