William Burrows died at his home 5 miles south of Towanda. He had been a prominent farmer of the vicinity for 40 years.
Born in Pennsylvania March 11, 1861, he came to this state when a young man. He married Henrietta Mathias on June 1, 1894. She survives with 4 children, John, Oleon, Halden, Mrs. Gladys Jewett. Also surviving are 2 brothers, Thomas and John.
