Services for Mr. Denney will be 10 AM Thursday, December 18, 2003 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Denney, 68, of Lebanon, died Monday, December 15, 2003 at St. Thomas Hospital. The Wilson County native was born October 26, 1935 to the late Dave Denney and the late Ruby Thompson Baker. He served with the U. S. Army during the Korean War and worked from TRW and Tennessee Woolen Mills. He was also a Baptist in belief. He was preceded in death by his son, Billy Denney. Survivors include: his daughter, Donna Kay (Stephen) Capps of Mt. Juliet; son, Michael (Connie Morgan) Denney of Lebanon; mother of his children, Delores Winfree Denney of Lebanon; and three grandchildren, Kayleigh Ann and Charles Stephen Capp, both of Mt. Juliet and Amy Denney of Lebanon. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
