Duane Canova, 63, of Bridgeport, died July 10, 2004. He was born October 31, 1940 in Paradise. Mr. Canova, a wielder, was a Veteran of the U. S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Katherine Canova of Bridgeport; son, Klayton Canova of Bridgeport; daughters, Debbie Delgado and husband Steve of Katy, Angie Kramer and husband Rob of Angleton and Kristin Canova of Bridgeport; grandchildren, Amanda, Taniesha, Elizabeth and Stevie; his mother, Clara Bell Canova of Bridgeport; brothers, Eugene Canova of Bridgeport and Kenneth Canova of Dallas; sisters, Joann Walker of Holiday and Brenda Kennedy of Bridgeport; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services was July 12, 2004 at the Hawkins Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Reed officiating. Honorary pallbearers were Sam Stegall, Beverly Lamber, Lannie Foreman and Charlie O'Dell.
