The funeral of Elvis Bluford Acock, 78, who died at his home on South Harrison Sunday after an illness of two weeks, will probably be held this afternoon at 4 'clock at the Gaskill funeral chapel, Rev. Dan S. Brinkley in charge.
Acock is an old pioneer of Shawnee, having lived here since 1903, moving here from Missouri. He is survived by his widow and four children; Mrs. George W. White of Dalhart, Texas; Mrs. I. N. E. Johnson of Shawnee; R. F. Acock of Parsons, Kan., and Ira Acock of Oktaha.
