Ella was the daughter of William Moore and Elizabeth Bryant. On 25 Nov 1869 she married William "W. B." Brumleve and they had three children: Elizabeth, William and George. At some point after 1880 she and W. B. divorced and she never remarried. Ella died at the home of her son George, 3111 Teal Avenue, of a cerebral thrombosis. She was 83.
