Eoler Abee, the 14-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jones Abee, (mothers name Barbra) died Sunday afternoon after a brief illness of typhoid fever. She was a lovable child, a favorite amoung her acquaintenances, a faithful Sunday school pupil of Salem Church. her body was laid to rest in Salem Cemetery in the presence of a great concourse of sorrowing friends and relatives. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. A. C. Swofford, pastor, assisted by Rev. E.E. Williamson of Morganton.
On the only census she ever appeared Eoler lived with her mother and father and the following siblings:

Thornville N.
Lonnie T.
Elmer P
Jones E.
Her Aunt Dora S. (who was 40 years old) and Uncle Charles (who was 29 years old) (siblings of her father) lived with the family on the farm.
