Daughter of Henry Ehlers and Maria Christina Evert.∼Christine was the daughter of Christian & Maria Evert Ehlers and one of 6 children.
On 12 June 1874, she married Henry Meyer. Together they were the parents of 10 children-August, Dorothea Henrietta Emelie, Rosa (Graf), Georg Heinrich, Ludwig Wilhelm Enoch, Maria Magdalena (Brackmann), Elsbeth Anna (Dierking), Lydia (Kitterer), Heinrich, and Otto.
